Individual Therapy
Through Sacred Scars LLC, C Blanck (they/them), LCSW, provides individual telehealth therapy both independently through Headway and as a contractor with Higher Sights Counseling.
C specializes in working with adults navigating trauma, including complex and religious trauma, as well as anxiety, identity exploration, and suicidal thoughts. They offer a collaborative, trauma-informed space that prioritizes safety, autonomy, and pacing, supporting clients in building coping skills and engaging in deeper healing work when ready.
Their approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality; trained, working toward certification). This combination supports emotional regulation, values-based living, and compassionate self-understanding.
C holds dual master’s degrees in Social Work (MSW) and Divinity (MDiv), along with a certificate in Human-Animal-Environment Interactions (HAEI). Their theological training informs work with religious trauma and high-control environments, while maintaining a non-coercive, client-centered approach to spirituality.
As a queer, neurodiverse clinician living with invisible disabilities, C brings both lived and professional experience into their work. They are committed to providing affirming, accessible care, particularly for LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse communities.
C also has a strong interest in the human-animal bond and experience with animal-assisted therapy. While not currently offering animal-assisted services, they hope to incorporate this into their practice in the future alongside their therapy dog, Fusion.
C is dedicated to creating a therapeutic space that is flexible, inclusive, and grounded in compassion and supporting clients in building resilience, deepening self-understanding, and moving toward meaningful, sustainable change.
